Intel or AMD ??

Just to ask u guys... which one u prefer for ur pc and laptop processor...
Intel or AMD ? (with details..)

intel - desktop
especially if compare their new i7. an amd mimic. XD

amd - laptop
feels like faster than intel's. compared with many compaq intel core2duo but still my amd rocks. XD

lolx... i already get a i7 pc...
quite fast lo... i open photoshop or wat about 2 or 3 sec only...
when multi-task also song... no lag at all...
my laptop also amd d lo... i use 1.8ghz only.. i feels like very slow....

photoshop is quite fast.. try photoshop x64

i dont hv photoshop x64...
i juz normal use only... edit some pic..~ ~ ~
but i can notice is quite fast lo.. convert song also fast...

althought i using Intel motherboard....

but i prefer AMD motherboard....fast and stable....

AMD Quad Core is better choose for Desktop PC....

Intel is better... especially Core i7... Quad Core, 8 Thread....
in Device Manager... it shows 8 CPU....

don't forget it is logical virtual processor..
means when your program is having overhead, you will get downtime..

as the processor timing is totally different with their previous families, programmer haven't yet to adopt these features into their calculation method..

you should remember back that the HyperThreading Technology which they introduce as "fake" dual core, also their Pentium D 800 series, which features 2 physical processor cramped into 1 physical socket..

of course, this time their memory management "should be" better already, but the memory pair is 3 pairs.. or should I say, 6GB/12GB max memory?
